Rare Vintage 1960s TTI Igloo Promotional 7UP 7-UP Logo Hard Cooler Box Ice Chest Texas Tennessee Industries Mid-Century Branded Merchandise. Rare collector’s find! Vintage advertising / marketing promotional / promo item featuring an early (since discontinued / modified) version of the 7up logo in red, and branded / produced by TTI, a now retired company name. History Note: This cooler is brand marked by TTI (Texas Tennessee Industries), which was a re-brand of the Igloo company as a result of a merger during the 1960s. The TTI name was introduced in early 1960 and changed back to Igloo in 1971. Features Igloo’s mid-century signature square grid stamped / embossed / 3D waffle texture on the lid, with a 3D 7Up logo stamped in the center. Great as decor or prop, etc. Has not been tested for function, but it’s possible it can still be usable as a cooler / ice chest if you choose to. Outside measurements are approximately 25″ long / wide, including side handles; 14″ tall (bottom to top), and 14.5 deep (front to back). Note: I have made no effort to clean this up other than a quick wipe down. Pre-owned with obvious signs of wear / age, but no cracks or holes in the main cooler body or lid. One of the flexible plastic hinges on the lid / top is broken, so lid will not stand open on its own without being held. The other hinge is still intact, but does feel delicate from age. The bottom spigot is the same original plastic. I have not thoroughly inspected the spigot or tested the drain valve for water tightness or functionality. The red 7UP logo printed on the front has areas of notable wear, and there are some scuffs and small nicks in areas of the main cooler plastic.
