I used this cooler only once on a camping trip, so this is virtually new. It was used only for beverages; no perishables, no meat, no fish, or the like; so it is completely clean. I can state from experience that this cooler is far superior to the kind you’d find in major retailers. Ice lasts far longer than I’ve ever seen in other high-end marine grade coolers, even under poor conditions (Florida sun and summer heat). I’m only parting with it because I’m not using it and could use the room in my garage. It would be ideal for someone with a boat.
