There are approximately 450 +/- ice packs here. The weight of the packs plus the skid and box is estimated to be around 500 lbs. Most of the ice packs weigh around 1 lb each, some more, some less. These packs were used one time prior to transport temperature sensitive materials. I used this cooler only once on a camping trip, so this is virtually new. It was used only for beverages; no perishables, no meat, no fish, or the like; so it is completely clean.
